Share Your Story
Do you have a story you want to tell?
It can be anything from a life altering experience to a small revelation - anything that you feel you want to share.
What I'm looking for:
Stories from LGBTQ+
Anything else that is part of your life, and who you are, that you want to share!
Ages 13-18 (although exceptions can be made)
I am looking particularly for minority voices, diverse voices - people who don't fit the mold, so to speak. Stories about the things that make you "peculiar", because it is our peculiarities that make us who we are, and our peculiarities that make us unique.
How to submit work:
Write your story. You don't have to be the world's best author - I want to hear your voice. There is no required length or limit, tell your story as you want to tell it! Please keep it appropriate (some language is okay, but nothing explicitly sexual, etc.).

Do not plagiarize! If you quote anyone else work, please cite it! Please note: no AI generated work will be considered.
If I'm planning on publishing your work to my website and have other questions for you, or have suggestions for your work, I will contact you! I will send you an email with a link to the page with your story when it is published, that way you can read it over and make sure you're happy with it.
It's your work - you have complete control over it! By submitting work, you will be giving me the right to make basic edits, but otherwise it is 100% yours.
I don't have a particular timeline yet, as this project is just starting, and your input will impact how it goes. I cannot promise that I will publish every story, but it is my goal to do everything in my power to do so.

I will not publish nor consider anything that is hateful, derogatory, etc.
This is a place for positivity, to give people a voice and a platform where they can share their story.

Submission Guidelines
In the "Your Name" box:
- your name, The Peculiarity Project
please include a name I can use when contacting you (this also doesn't have to be your real name, whatever you're comfortable with)
At the top of the message box:
- leave your name
I can published your work anonymously or under a fake name - whatever you want to go by, and you can indicate this here.
- what topic you're writing about (ex. LGBTQ+, mental health)
- the title of your submission
Make sure you're happy with your work before you submit it! You're welcome to submit an image you'd like published with it, whether it be of yourself or something you feel represents your story (artwork, photography, etc).
